Our Story
A pandemic hobby on Danby Hill grew into a family sugarhouse.
Riley Lewis tapped his first trees in 2020. What started as something to do turned into a real sugaring operation.
Every season, Riley and his three daughters spend long days in the sugarhouse, feeding the fire and watching the syrup come off.
Our family sugarhouse is in Danby, Vermont, in Rutland County.
“Starting out as a hobby in 2020 in the midst of the global pandemic, has become much more.”“The best part is spending days in the sugarhouse with my three daughters.”
